Dr. Miyai has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for over 5 years. Dr. Miyai earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was honored with the title of Valedictorian, as well as several other academic honors.
Dr. Miyai then went on to complete a specialized post-graduate residency in orthodontics from Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
After several years as an associate orthodontist, Dr. Miyai returned home to Hawaii to open his own private practice on Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.
Dr. Miyai is an esteemed member of the dental community; he is an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations.
Dr. Miyai enjoys giving back to his community through charitable work via the Shriners Hospital for Children. In his spare time, he likes to read, workout, fish, hike, cook, and spend time with his family and friends.
